Experience Level:  Intermediate

A fun, three part class to teach you how to knit your very own pair of socks - fabulous for gifting or to keep as something special for yourself. Participants need to be able to knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast on and cast off and will be taught how to knit socks from the top down using circular needles by our award winning, experienced tutor. Knowledge of knitting in the round is preferable although not essential.

Dates: Wednesday 26th June 7pm-8:30pm, Wednesday 10th July 7pm-9pm, Wednesday 24th July 7pm-9pm

Duration: 5 1/2 hours over three lessons held over three different weeks with homework included.

Materials required:

1 x 100g or 2 x 50 gram balls Sock Yarn or any 4 ply/fingering yarn suitable for knitting socks.

1 x circular needle 80cm 2.5mm or Seeknit 23cm 2.5mm asymmetrical circular needle

We suggest you use 2.25mm needles if you are a loose knitter or 2.75mm for a tight knitter.

Parking:

Weekday daytime classes - please park on Devon Street as there is no parking within the complex during the week.

Night and weekend classes - you are welcome to drive down and park in the complex.

Payment

100% deposit is payable on registration. Your place in the classes will not be confirmed until full payment is made.

Cancellation policy

Full refund of payment or eligibility to move your class to a different date will only be allowed if your spot can be filled on the original booking date. Failure to attend the class without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund or to have your spot moved to a different date. Please be considerate. Should we not reach the minimum numbers required to run the class we will either cancel or postpone the class to another date. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unusual and unforeseen circumstances. We will try to avoid this wherever possible however sometimes this cannot be avoided. In this situation we will of course offer a full refund. We are sorry but we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out of our control.
