Experience Level:  Beyond Beginner - we recommend you have attended our Learn to Knit Level 1 class or have basic knitting skills.

The perfect class for knitters that have a handle on the absolute basics and would like to take their skills to the next level! You will leave this workshop with the knowledge to read patterns and understand abbreviations, why tension squares matter and how to check your tension, yarn substitution, increasing and decreasing, and how to knit holding two yarns together using the luxurious Isager Silk Mohair and Spinni yarn which will be provided in class. You will also learn a few more stitches to add to your repertoire.

Materials required:

1x 50g ball of double knit (8 ply) yarn

1x 4mm knitting needles

Prior to class: start a swatch (using the yarn and needles specified), cast on 40 stitches and knit 20 rows in stockinette stitch - leave on needles.

Materials needed for this class are available from our Bianca Lorenne Store, 311 Devon Street East, New Plymouth at a 10% discount after booking.

Class Location: Bianca Lorenne Studio – 9/477A Devon Street East, New Plymouth.

Parking: 

Weekday daytime classes - please park on Devon Street as there is no parking within the complex during the week.

Night and weekend classes - you are welcome to drive down and park in the complex.

Payment

100% deposit is payable on registration. Your place in the classes will not be confirmed until full payment is made.

Cancellation policy

Full refund of payment or eligibility to move your class to a different date will only be allowed if your spot can be filled on the original booking date. Failure to attend the class without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund or to have your spot moved to a different date. Please be considerate. Should we not reach the minimum numbers required to run the class we will either cancel or postpone the class to another date. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unusual and unforeseen circumstances. We will try to avoid this wherever possible however sometimes this cannot be avoided. In this situation we will of course offer a full refund. We are sorry but we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out of our control.
