Experience Level: Beyond Beginner - we recommend you have attended our Learn to Knit Level 1 class or have basic knitting skills.
Whether you are a beginner who would like to progress from squares to knitting garments or a more experienced knitter who would like to try knitting a seamless sweater in the round from the top down - this class is for you! Using the gorgeous PetiteKnit Teddy Bear Sweater pattern, our experienced tutor will walk you through the process of knitting your first sweater and will cover the following techniques: knitting in the round/magic loop, increasing and decreasing, German short rows, ribbing, and sewing in ends.
Dates: Thursday 13th June 7pm-8pm, Thursday 20th June 7pm-9:30pm, Thursday 11th July 7pm-8:30pm
Duration: 5 hours over three lessons held over three different weeks with homework included.

Materials required:
-Teddy Bear Sweater pattern
-Circular needles 3.5mm and 4mm, 80cm
-Isager Silk Mohair and Alpaca 2 (amount depends on the size you choose)
-A scrap of black yarn for the embroidered teddy bear face
Prior to class: Check your gauge by knitting a swatch.

Parking:
Weekday daytime classes - please park on Devon Street as there is no parking within the complex during the week.
Night and weekend classes - you are welcome to drive down and park in the complex.
Payment
100% deposit is payable on registration. Your place in the classes will not be confirmed until full payment is made.
Cancellation policy
Full refund of payment or eligibility to move your class to a different date will only be allowed if your spot can be filled on the original booking date. Failure to attend the class without prior notification will not be eligible for a refund or to have your spot moved to a different date. Please be considerate. Should we not reach the minimum numbers required to run the class we will either cancel or postpone the class to another date. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to unusual and unforeseen circumstances. We will try to avoid this wherever possible however sometimes this cannot be avoided. In this situation we will of course offer a full refund. We are sorry but we cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out of our control.
